Email links and the old Dashboard
If you click a link in a Paystack email — a transaction notification, a dispute alert, a settlement summary — you may find yourself taken to the old Dashboard. This is expected, and this article explains why.
Why this happens
Email links will continue to point to the old Dashboard until it is fully decommissioned. Updating them before then would create a broken experience for merchants who haven't yet switched — so the links stay as they are until the transition is complete for everyone.
Nothing is broken. The old Dashboard continues to work normally, and any link you follow from an email will still take you to the right place.
When this will change
We expect to fully decommission the old Dashboard by the end of the year. At that point, all email links will route to the new experience automatically.
Accessing the new Dashboard in the meantime
You don't need to wait for email links to update. You can access the new Dashboard directly at any time by navigating to dashboard.paystack.com/v2. Bookmark it for easy access.
