Your data hasn't changed

Edited

The new Paystack Dashboard is a completely rebuilt frontend — but everything underneath it is exactly as it was. This article explains what changed and what didn't.

What changed

The new Dashboard is a new frontend: new codebase, new architecture, new design. It's also the fastest, most significant update to the Dashboard in Paystack's history.

We also built a new service: project-canvas-api — to power the Command Center's AI features. This is a new layer on top of existing infrastructure, not a replacement for it.

What didn't change

Everything else. The backend APIs that have powered Paystack for years continue to power the new Dashboard unchanged. That means:

  • Your full transaction history is intact

  • Your customer records are exactly as they were

  • Your API keys, webhook configurations, and developer settings are untouched

  • Your team members and their permissions are unaffected

  • Your settlements, refunds, and dispute records are all there

If you've been using Paystack for two years or ten, everything you've built up in your account is still there. We didn't touch it.

If something seems missing

The new Dashboard currently covers Paystack's core payments experience. Some features from the old Dashboard — including Commerce, Splits, and Transfers — are not yet available in the new experience and will be added over the course of the year.

If something you rely on isn't where you expect it, it's worth checking our article on what's in the new Dashboard first. If you've checked and something genuinely seems missing or wrong, contact our support team and we'll look into it.
