Accessing Your Data via the Paystack Dashboard
As a Paystack customer or merchant, you are a data subject under applicable data protection laws. This means you have the right to know what personal data we process about you and your customers, and to receive a copy of it.
The fastest way to view and export most of your data is directly from your Paystack Dashboard. This guide walks you through how.
Transaction and payout records
Your full payment history and payout records are available on the dashboard and can be exported at any time.
Log in to your Paystack Dashboard.
In the sidebar, click Transactions to view your payment history.
Use the Filter option above the table to narrow results by date, status, or customer.
Click the Export icon near the filters, then choose your preferred file format (for example, CSV).
Repeat the same steps in Payouts and other sections (disputes, payouts, subscriptions, e.t.c.) to download your records.
You can read our detailed article on data exports here.
Customer information
If a customer asks for the personal details they shared during a transaction (such as their name, email address, or phone number), you can find that information on the Customers page.
Click Customers in the sidebar.
Search for a specific customer, or browse the list.
Click a customer’s name to open their full profile, including their transaction history with you.
To download your entire customer list, click Export CSV on the Customers page.
Using the AI Dashboard
The AI Dashboard lets you pull customer and transaction data using plain-language requests.
Type your request in everyday language.
The AI Dashboard generates a response based on the data on your dashboard and the instructions you provide.
Examples of what you can ask:
“Show me all customers with failed transactions from last month.”
“List all customers refunded in the past two weeks.”
“Which customers made more than 5 payments in the last 90 days?”
Requesting other data
If you need personal data that isn’t available for export from the dashboard — such as detailed system logs or records tied to a specific data subject rights request — please contact our Support team.
You can reach us in any of the following ways:
Click the Help or Support button inside your dashboard and submit a request describing the data you’d like to access.
Email Paystack’s Data Protection Officer at dpo@paystack.com.
When making a request, include enough information for us to locate your records — for example, your full name and the email address linked to your Paystack account. We may also ask for additional details to verify your identity before releasing any data.
At Paystack, we are committed to keeping your data secure and accessible whenever you need it.
