All data in Paystack's database is stored in the Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) timezone by default. UTC is the time standard commonly used across the world. However, the timestamps on your dashboard have been adjusted to the time zone you are located in. This is so you can get a true idea of when an action or event occurred on your dashboard. So if your current time-zone is Eastern Standard Time (EST), the time on your dashboard will be displayed in EST.
As the image above shows, the 'Paid At' time that is highlighted will be displayed in your time zone.
Since our database is in UTC, this has implications on your exports. When you export data from your dashboard, the timestamps in the report will be in UTC.
