Paystack-Titan
Paystack-Titan is a partnership between Paystack and Titan Trust Bank, a commercial bank licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria. The partnership enables customers to make fast, reliable bank transfer payments to Paystack businesses via bank accounts generated by Paystack.
To complete a transfer to a Paystack-Titan account, a customer can go to their bank or wallet app, then search for and choose 'Paystack-Titan' from the list of destination banks — the same process followed when transferring to any bank account.
Using the accounts generated via Paystack-Titan, we can provide an efficient service that reduces errors with bank transfer payments and minimises the incidence of failed payments for our customers. And if payments do fail, we can quickly reverse them and troubleshoot issues more efficiently.
How you can use Paystack-Titan as a business
If you are a business signed up as a Nigeria-based registered business, you can generate and assign a Paystack-Titan account as a dedicated virtual account for your customers.
Nigerian customers can also make payments to Nigeria-based businesses on the Paystack Checkout via Paystack-Titan. All they will need to do is select the ‘Transfer’ option, and a Paystack-Titan account will be generated for the customer to complete the transaction.
Customers have the option of switching to another bank account by clicking 'CHANGE BANK' beside the bank name on the checkout to switch to another bank and complete the payment. However, we strongly recommend that customers use the Paystack-Titan account.
How you can use Paystack-Titan as a customer
For a customer to complete a transaction, the customer will need to open their bank or wallet app and search for Paystack-Titan in the list of banks. Once you find Paystack-Titan, input the account number and the correct amount you need to send and complete the payment.
